The ZHANG Group

The Zhang Research Group at Institute of Biopharmaceutical and Health Engineering (iBHE) at Tsinghua University is focused on the precise delivery engineering, with a major emphasis on the design and preparation of functional biomaterials and self-assembly process via complementary interactions to generate a “smart” system for targeted cargos delivery and controlled release. The uniting theme of the lab-the understanding and use the special microenvironment at disease site (extra/intracellular) to develop biomaterials, vehicles and strategies for precise delivery engineering.
